The path laid out ahead
A poorly constructed facade
Designation to depersonalize
Sequences forgotten
With which we tie the lines
The strands that are left are broken
Useless, Wasted
Broken, Lost, Forsaken, Forgotten
Unguided we find the line
Eclipsed inside the beauty
Of this idealised mirage
The flesh that we inhabit
Is flawed in its design
The mysteries around us
Form the questions in our mind
Questionably present in our lives
Sick and tired of our dissent
We are now a blight
An inconsequential specimen
In the eyes of carbonic royalty
What the fuck are we doing?
The foreseen conclusion
These trivial endeavours fall to naught
The meaningless sentiments
Will not grant the grace
Callously desired
Out of nothing we climb
In our search for the skies
Shadows lay before us
To break us down
Forgive us for our ingratitude please
Provide us with another lease
Broken, Lost, Forsaken, Forgotten
Unguided we find the line
Eclipsed inside the beauty
Of this idealised mirage
The flesh in which we live in
Is flawed in its design
The mysteries around us
Form the questions in our mind
Lost among the graves
Of a celestial riposte
Survivors of a genocide
It released us
To wallow in our pain
And guilt
Broken, Lost, Forsaken, Forgotten
Unguided we find the line
Eclipsed inside the beauty
Of this idealised mirage
The flesh in which we live in
Is flawed in its design
The mysteries around us
Form the questions in our mind
To walk the wastes
Traverse the lands of death
A picture of the conflict
Smitten down by gods
Broken, Lost, Forsaken, Forgotten
Unguided we find the line
Eclipsed inside the beauty
Of this idealised mirage
The flesh in which we live in
Is flawed in its design
The mysteries around us
Form the questions in our mind
A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan
Magistral ! Jordan Vauvert
Highest-quality-metal!
Imagine Cynic having a baby with Dream Theater, Devin Townsend, Atheist and Joe Satriani!
And now imagine this and add fantastic songwriting!
Ok.
Now you got it, don't you? RATMAN
