I am a survivor of the grand irradiate end
I waltzed the gulley of nuclear transcendence
I feel the sin on the crippled wind
This so-called life means nothing
A fleeting breath in an uncaring world
We fucked it; raped the earth of all its kind
The stalemate is flawed

When they came for me I failed to see
My mind a tomb unbarred unguarded
And as it fell around us
And took us from our homes
The world would not protect me and mine
For our part in the greying earth
And the dirt held in our hands

On the sea-sprayed cliffs above the sea of death
The gods go over first

Trigger-happy bloated wretch
Fingers ready guns are drawn

The stench of hatred fills the air
The six feet of soil between us and them
Is growing ever shorter with time
The blood paid mountains and arbitrary wealth
Will mean fuck all in hell

The cold withers the heathen soil
The earth revolves its final dawn
The loneliness of which I feel
Is brought on by the dark
The canopy of broken dreams
Will not break my fall this time
I hope that in the ending days
I will find my peace and mind

They were sitting in their halls
Upon huge thrones of money
When the first bomb fell
And took away their pain
The endless cycle of
Tyranny and greed
Brought us nothing but
