A psychotic misinterpretation of reality
Succumbing to translucent nightmares
A silent toast to the death of dreaming
To scream the nights away
But we know better than this
These voices call my reason
They tell me I can't see their reality
But I can feel it's existence
There is no darkness in these blinding hallucinations
I have not a sadistic heart
Yet this stimulation they force-feed me
Can never be enough to sate the hunger inside
Swept aside as another case
Doctor said I'm like the rest
These demons in my head,
The hatred in my eyes
I must exercise this violence
Portrayed through imaginings in my mind
Before control is relinquished
And turned to black before me
Lies the eclipsing grasp of my
Wavering hold on this dimension
Perception askew, a soul ajar
I interpret the meanings
And design my own derivations
These friends of mine in corporeal form
Plot with me the impending demise
Of those who threaten to 'Make me better'
I pray that death will grant me
Master of the abstract
And there is naught misplaced from the subconscious
They can't contain the concept
Of the ever-bleeding dreams
Spilling over threshold
Between the fantasy
And the materiality
Can't you fucking hear it?
It pulses through this world
Can't you fucking feel it?
I'll beat it through your skull
I placed my faith in white coats
And told it'll be okay
What's that you say?
There's no control?
Scream louder, bring the saviour
I pray you find your peace
As I shall embrace mine

A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan

Magistral ! Jordan Vauvert

Highest-quality-metal!
Imagine Cynic having a baby with Dream Theater, Devin Townsend, Atheist and Joe Satriani!
And now imagine this and add fantastic songwriting!
Ok.
Now you got it, don't you? RATMAN
